First time out in what seems like ages and I managed to catch the windiest part of the day which was good... Although the pouring rain didn't really help! Wind was averaging around 15knots all morning with some big gusts, but seemed to settle down at around 18 knots at midday so I headed over then and met Rob there.
Started off with my 5.7m and big board, nicely powered for a good blast. There were some nice clean waves so I even managed a few frontside wave rides on the way back in. The wind then picked up touching 25 knots at times so I changed down to my 5m and little board, but the wind dropped as I did so and swung to the SW. It is now only about 5 knots, so I'm glad I went out when I did despite the torrential rain.

Time to treat myself to some new toys though I think!
